The notebook is part of the community’s 9/11 commemoration, which includes a 10th Anniversary Flag of Honor, “portraits’ of the 12 residents who lost their lives that day, and copies of a speech made during the November 2001 memorial dedication service.
The display includes photos and brief stories that paint a portrait of the lives lost on what town officials referred to as "that incongruously beautiful morning.”
The portraits of the “Ridgewood 12” — Michael Carroll, Daniel McGinley, James Munhall, Charlie Murphy, Steven Paterson, Michael San Phillip, Bruce Simmons, Steven Strobert, Gina Sztejnberg, Jon Vandevander, and Christopher Wodenshek — will remain on display through the month of September.
