Picewicz went beyond her duties to help an overwhelmed patient with a new medication regimen. She was working with a patient and family member on medication changes. She spent a great deal of time with the patient and family member discussing the medication changes and what they would mean for the patient's medication regimen.
Sensing they have been overwhelmed and not fully understanding the new medication instructions, Picewicz drove to the patient's house after a full day's work to further educate them on the information to ensure the patient and family understood the medication information accurately.
