Fair Lawn Gym Dances For Orlando

FAIR LAWN, N.J. — Retro Fitness in Fair Lawn is dancing for Orlando.

Dom Grit and four other Zumba Fitness instructors will be leading a master class on June 22 to aid the families of the 49 victims gunned down in Orlando on Sunday.

The gym is holding Zumba Fitness Master Class on Wednesday, June 22 for the GoFundMe page launched to aid Equality Florida, the state's LGBT civil rights organization.

Donations to the Pulse Victim Fund will be distributed with help from the National Center for Victims of Crime to support families of the 49 people gunned down Sunday at a gay nightclub in Orlando.

"At first we felt shocked and helpless like most people," instructor Dom Grit said. "We wanted to take that helpless feeling and make it into something we could act upon.

"What better way than through music, through dance and through that sense of community."

The class will be at 6:30 p.m. and is $15 for those who preregister, $20 at the door.
