Jordan Belfort, whose memoir about running his own brokerage house inspired the Martin Scorsese movie "The Wolf of Wall Street" and the movie "Boiler Room" is signing copies of his new book "The Wolf of Investing: My Insider's Playbook for Making a Fortune on Wall Street" on Wednesday, Nov. 1. at 6 p.m. at Bookends in Ridgewood.
In his new book, Belfort offers a guide to anyone who wants to master the stock market, including advice on when to buy, sell, hold and cash out and become a savvy investor, according to a synopsis.
Belfort is no stranger to controversy. He served 22 months in prison for defrauding investors by manipulating the stock market by running pump and dump schemes using penny stocks.
