Ridgewood Parks And Recreation Offers Trip To Philadelphia Flower Show

RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- This year's Philadelphia flower show is entitled "Explore America: 100 Years of the National Park Service," and Ridgewood Parks and Recreation is sponsoring a trip to the show Tuesday, March 8.

This year is the 100th anniversary of the national park system, and the show at the Pennsylvania Convention Center will feature trails of adventure. Each path will highlight natural wonders, culture, historical sites and monuments of one of the nation's greatest assets, our national parks.

Along the trails you will see diverse landscapes, beautiful gardens and award-winning plants.

The cost is $65 per person. That includes admission to the show and coach bus transportation; lunch is not included. The bus will depart Graydon Pool parking lot, at the corner of Linwood Avenue and Northern Parkway, at 8 a.m.. The bus will return at approximately 5:30 p.m.
