- Jewish Wisdom for Growing Older: noon-2 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 6. Lunch will be served, and all dietary laws will be strictly observed. Speaker Rabbi Dayle A. Friedman is a spiritual guide, social innovator, chaplain, and scholar. She is a pioneer in reinventing and revaluing aging. She offers guidance for meeting the opportunities and challenges of later life.
- Leading a Life of Impact and Meaning: noon-2 p.m. or 7 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 13. Lunch will be served at the afternoon session, and all dietary laws will be strictly observed. Speaker Rabbi Daniel Cohen is the senior rabbi at Agudath Sholom in Stamford, Conn., one of the largest modern orthodox synagogues in New England. He will provide a framework for reigniting a life journey of deeper fulfillment and impact through an interactive and inspirational seminar. The same seminar offered twice on the same day.
- Spiritual and Practical Legacies Parts I and II: Jewish Ethical Wills: noon-2 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 20. Lunch will be served, and all dietary laws will be strictly observed. Speaker Rabbi Debra Orenstein will delve into the Torah and present how our ancestors dealt with inheritance. She will discuss Jewish values and what you want to leave to future generations. During Part II, Inventory Your Life, Carol Kaufman, CEO of Carebinders, will tell her story of how she found out she was a successor to her parents' Donor Advised Fund at Federation after thinking she finally had settled their estate. This led Kaufman to create Carebinders.
