Whitney Diacono, the owner of the recently opened Bisous Beauty Bar in Englewood and a Hackensack resident offers the following tips:

Go for a fresh, natural, dewy face but add some holiday flair. "For the eyes, I like to go with neutral shadows like browns, nudes, and creams," said Diacono. "For holiday sparkle, I love to add gold shimmer on the eyelids so that whenever you blink, the glittery look will catch people's attention."
Be merry with berry. "When it comes to holiday makeup, people always tend to go for a bold red lip. Some people look great in a red lip, but for the majority of people, it tends to look too harsh," she said. "This year, a lot of celebrities and fashion moguls are going for more of a matte berry lip color. It is still bold but has a softer look that compliments almost every skin tone."
Treat yourself. If holiday makeup seems too difficult, treat yourself to a makeup application by a professional, suggests Diacono. Your Facebook page will thank you.
