Screening Of 'Big Eyes' And 'Still Alice' At The Ridgewood Library

RIDGEWOOD, N.J. – The Ridgewood Public Library will show “Still Alice” and “Big Eyes” at Friday matinees, and “Still Alice” at a Monday night movie screening.

“Still Alice” (2014) stars Julianne Moore as a linguistics professor with early onset Alzheimer ’s disease. Moore won several best actress awards, and the movie itself won high praise. It will be shown at 1 p.m. Friday.

“Big Eyes” (2014) is a biographical film that stars Amy Adams and Christoph Waltz as Margaret and Walter Keane. Margaret’s paintings of big-eyed people are popular, so her husband, Walter, takes credit for the art work. Adams won a Golden Globe for her performance. It will be shown at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16 and 6:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20.
