Rockettes Kick Up Some Joy At Ridgewood Visit

RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- Thursday may be the official start of fall, but at Van Dyk's Homemade Ice cream in Ridgewood, people will be kicking up some holiday cheer.

Two Radio City Rockettes -- Nicole Baker Luftig of Upper Saddle River and Sarah Staker of New York City -- are visiting the shop from 3-4 p.m.

The public is invited and there's no charge to stop by and meet the Rockettes.

As part of the celebration, Van Dyk’s will add peppermint stick ice cream to its menu that day.

The Rockettes will recognize Van Dyk’s as a spectacular place to “make time for joy” and present the shop with a certificate of excellence for its contributions to the community.

The Rockettes have been stopping by various places in the tri-state area as part of their “make time for joy” initiative.

Van Dyk's is located at 145 Ackerman Ave., Ridgewood.
