The E. Glen Avenue concert series, organized by Jeff Sofka, will raise funds for the Ridgewood Historical Society for purposes that include painting the exterior of the 1872 museum.

Ridgewood Unplugged will feature songs from breakout albums of well-known bands and solo artists in conjunction with the theme "Break On Through."

Each band will have 13 minutes.

The Schoolhouse Museum houses a wide assortment of artifacts from the 17th century to the mid 20th century. Volunteers create informative exhibits that tell the stories of local, state, and national history.

The shows are on Jan. 22, 23, 29 and 30. Tickets are $20 for adults and $7.50 for students. They will be on sale Dec. 5 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Schoolhouse Museum.
