Ridgewood Public Library Sets Film Screenings, More

RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- The Ridgewood Library has several events to keep residents busy through March.

The library will screen the film "Bag It: Is Your Life Too Plastic?" on Thursday, March 3 at 7 p.m. The documentary exposes the effects of plastic bags and other plastic consumer merchandise on land, ecosystems and the human body. 

A discussion will be hold on the film "Orlando" in honor Women's History Month Film  on Wednesday, March 2 at 1 p.m. A Discussion to follow with Lorri Steinbacher. 

Local History & Genealogy Genealogy consultants provide assistance on Wednesday, March 2, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.; and Thursday, March 3 from 10 a.m. to noon. Contact Sarah at HeritageCenter@ridgewoodlibrary.org or 201-670-5600, ext. 135 to make an appointment with a GSBC volunteer. 

The Teen Programs Homework Center is on hand to help students in grades 3-9 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Study on your own or get help from top RHS student volunteers. Wifi, Macs/PCs and  color printing are available. 

The Teen Tech Club will explore custom T-shirt Design on Wednesday, March 2 from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
