“The Foreigner,” written by Larry Shue and directed by Nate Hamm, is a two-act comedy that revolves around the visit of two guests, Englishmen Charlie Baker and Staff Sergeant Froggy LeSueur, at a resort lodge in Georgia. Charlie is shy and depressed because his beloved wife may be dying in the hospital. He tells his friend he can’t talk to anyone because he’s so distraught, so Froggy explains to the other guests that Charlie is the native of an exotic country who does not understand a word of English. As the days pass, Charlie finds himself privy to secrets and scandals freely discussed in front of him by the other visitors.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students, seniors and staff. A special student rate of $7 will be offered for the Thursday performance.
