Ridgewood Library Announces Weekly Event Schedule

RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- The Ridgewood Library has plenty for residents to do through the end of January.

Job hunters can learn about valuable online tools to find job listings, create resumes, organize job searches and develop technology skills at Career Resources Career Accelerator on Jan. 22 at 2 p.m. 

Local History and Genealogy Genealogy consultants will provide assistance on Monday, Jan. 25 from 4-6 p.m.; Wednesday, Jan. 27 from 10 a.m. to noon; Tuesday, Feb. 2 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Wednesday, Feb. 3 from, 7- 9 p.m.; and Thursday, Feb. 4 from 10 a.m. to noon. The Memoir Writing Group will meet on Tuesday, Jan. 26 at 2 p.m. Registration is required, no writing experience needed. Register at www.ridgewoodlibrary.org or contact Kerri at kwallace@ridgewoodlibrary.org

The Creative Writing Group will also meet on Jan. 26 at 7 p.m. Attendees will explore great short stories and develop talents as a group. Register with Kerri at kwallace@ridgewoodlibrary.org

Guest speaker Kathy Entwistle will host a women and finance workshop on, Thursday, Jan. 28 at 7 p.m. Improve your financial picture by understanding basic strategies. 

Learn or help others to knit, crochet, embroider, stitch while discussing new books at "Knit One Read Too" onTuesday, Feb. 2 at 7 p.m. Visit the reference desk or contact Victoria at 201-612-5600, ext. 133.
