The first is "Discovering Paterson: One Building at a Time" Monday. Richard Polton will speak about the history of the city as reflected in buildings that shaped Paterson and its people. The story will center on the architectural portfolio of Fred Wesley Wentworth, but the talk also will feature an overview of the major buildings near the new Great Falls National Park, as well as the most distinctive and noteworthy buildings of downtown Paterson.
The talk will begins at 7 p.m. in the library's auditorium.
Additionally, on Wednesday, the library will present "Connecting on Meetups." Robert Gilligan from "The Adventures of Gilligan's North Jersey Meetup Group." Gilligan will explain how to connect with events in the Bergen County area, including museums, concerts, Broadway shows, historical tours, adventure travel and other local events.
This talk will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the library auditorium.
