Ridgewood-Based Organization Repairs Bergen County Homes

Rebuilding Together Bergen County will join Rebuilding Together affiliates nationwide in providing free, critical-home repairs and modifications to low-income families this Saturday.

The Bergen County homes are located in Hackensack, Hasbrouck Heights, Moonachie, Mahwah and Teaneck. Repairs will also be made to a local therapeutic group home for children in foster care.

Volunteers and representatives from sponsoring businesses and organizations, including Boiling Springs Savings Bank, Eastern Bergen County Board of Realtors, Lowe’s, NVE Bank, Oritani Charitable Foundation, PSEG, RealSource Association of Realtors, and IBEW Local 164 will be participating, along with general and skilled volunteers.

Rebuilding Together Bergen County is the local affiliate of a national organization that transforms the lives of low-income homeowners by improving the safety and health of their homes and revitalizing our communities. 

The organization provides critical repairs, accessibility modifications and energy-efficient upgrades at no cost to recipients of service.

Since its founding in 1998, Rebuilding Together has worked on more than 500 projects in 45 Bergen County towns.
