Vehicle Plows Into Paramus Nail Salon
No one was seriously injured when a wagon driven by an 83-year-old local driver slammed into a Paramus nail salon Tuesday afternoon. Vehicles that hit storefronts ordinarily don't make it in very far. Not the 2007 Lexus RX that crashed into Bliss Nails in the Highland Shopping Center on East Ridgewood Avenue shopping center shortly around 1:45 p.m. Dec. 6. Paramus Firefighters To The Rescue, But It Wasn't A Cat Caught In A Tree This Time
It's ordinarily a cat whom firefighters are asked to rescue from a tree. On Tuesday it was a Paramus homeowner. The 48-year-old East Midland Avenue resident found himself stuck about 45 feet in the air while trimming a tree around 5 p.m., Paramus Police Chief Kenneth Ehrenberg said from the scene. Man Hospitalized In Paramus Mall Fall
A homeless man was hospitalized after he fell a dozen or so feet from a railing at a mall in Paramus over the weekend, responders said. The victim apparently tried to sit on the railing near the California Pizza Kitchen at the Garden State Plaza when he lost his balance and fell backward before flipping and landing on his feet, then his side, shortly after 5:30 p.m. Saturday, March 12, they said.
