Critically Injured Bicyclist Airlifted After Crash Along Hudson River A bicyclist who was critically injured along the Hudson River below the Palisades was airlifted to the hospital Sunday morning. Unofficial reports from the scene at the Alpine Boat Basin in Palisades Interstate Park are that the 30-year-old bicyclist suffered a punctured lung, among other injuries, in a crash around 10 a.m. Sept. 17. GWB Jumper's Body Recovered From Hudson Rescuers recovered the body of a 21-year-old man who jumped to his death Thursday afternoon from the lower level of the George Washington Bridge. Port Authority police who heard an NYPD alert of a possible suicidal person at the George Washington Bridge found an abandoned vehicle on the Manhattan-bound side shortly after noon, authority spokeswoman Lenis Rodrigues said.
