Barbara Chojna said she was headed toward Paramus from Lodi when the driver of a gold Subaru hatchback "changed his mind about making a right and swerved into the intersection to make a left without even looking" at Essex Street and Main Streets/Rochelle Avenue around 7:40 a.m. The hatchback hit her 2003 Toyota Highlander on the passenger side, said Chojna, 32, of Hasbrouck Heights.
