Lyndhurst Police Officer's SUV Rear-Ended During Snow Squall A Lyndhurst police officer was OK after his SUV was rammed from behind during Wednesday's snow squalls. The unidentified officer was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center with minor injuries following the 4:18 p.m. crash on the northbound Route 17 loop, Acting Detective Sgt. Vincent Auteri said. The 58-year-old North Bergen driver of the Honda Accord that hit his police vehicle was treated at the scene and released, he said.
