Wayne Police Officer, Other Driver OK After Crash WAYNE, N.J. -- A Wayne police officer responding to an emergency call was involved in a crash Tuesday night. Both the officer and the other driver were checked out at the hospital and later released following the 6:30 p.m. crash at Hamburg Turnpike and Church Lane, authorities told Daily Voice. An investigation was continuing, they said.
