Employees at the T.G.I. Friday’s said 36-year-old Kendall Jones snatched back a $500 gift card he tried to cash and hustled out the door last Friday night.

He ran toward the Wendy’s, they told Officers Mark Torsiello and Jerry Onembo.

The pair found Jones in the men’s room trying to flush the license, four credit cards and gift cards from the Bahama Breeze and Chipotle restaurants in Paramus, Detective Matthew Mueller told CLIFFVIEW PILOT tonight.

The license was bogus, as were the credit cards in the names of four different people, Mueller said.

Jones was being held on $35,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with ID and credit card theft, use of fraudulent credit cards, receiving stolen property and tampering with evidence.
