Authorities said Tamira Mobley, 28, left Tamara Blaine convulsing at the Liberty Inn Hotel on 10th Avenue after injecting her last July.
Blaine had been writhing and foaming at the mouth for 90 minutes before Mobley got help, DNAInfo New York said it was told by sources. The victim was later pronounced dead at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital (SEE: Woman killed 22-year-old with silicone butt injections, police say).
The first autopsy wasn’t conclusive, but the NYC Medical Examiner’s Office ruled the death a homicide in October after an examiner noticed puncture wounds she couldn’t have made herself.

The injected silicone asphyxiated her, authorities said.
Detectives arrested Mobley at her home yesterday following an investigation that sources told DNAInfo New York included surveillance video from the by-the-hour hotel. Investigators tracked Mobley with the credit card she had used to pay for the room, the report says.
Prosecutors said she’d given the injections to Blaine three times before, as well as to several other women the past few years. They also said she got a cosmetology and hairstyling student’s license last August but wasn’t licensed to practice medicine in New York.
Mobley denied the charges, sources said.
