Wood-Ridge bail poster has warrants of his own

ANOTHER CVP SCOOP: A Wood-Ridge man was arrested after he showed up at police headquarters to bail out his friend and officers discovered warrants for his arrest — as well as the fact that he was driving with a suspended license, Police Chief Joseph Rutigliano said last night.

Michael Olaskowitz (inset, above) showed up after his pal, 39-year-old Stephen Zaccone of Elmwood Park, was pulled in for operating a motorcycle without a license and having an outstanding warrant following a 9:40 traffic stop last night by Lt. O’Donnell.

A computer check revealed that Olaskowitz, 41, drove to headquarters with a suspended license and also had multiple warrants for his arrest, Rutigliano told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

Olaskowitz was released after receiving new court dates out of Roxbury Township and Bogota.

Zaccone was released after posting bail.
