The crowd was letting out of LifeUltralounge at 3 a.m. Sunday when the scuffles broke out near the Water Street exit in the municipal parking lot on American Legion Drive, Detective Sgt. Kenneth Egbert told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

Officers from Teaneck, Bogota and Ridgefield Park who broke things up said a man with a bloody nose approached them saying he’d been punched several times in the face.

Teaneck officers interviewed a suspect who told them that the injured man grabbed his girlfriend’s butt, Egbert said.

The girl confirmed the claim, the sergeant said.

Reports were taken and the area was cleared, he said.
