Ridgefield Park Police Chase Down Suspected Industrial Yard Burglar

RIDGEFIELD PARK, N.J. -- Ridgefield Park police said they found a 43-year-old village ex-con hinding beneath a trailer after workers caught him burglarizing a construction yard on Sunday.

Michael Pelissier bolted toward the Hudson River when officers arrived at the Industrial Avenue yard around noon, Capt. Daniel Hippe said.

Pelissier was being held on $20,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with burglary, resisting arrest, trespassing and possession of burglary tools and a hypodermic needle.

He was also wanted on several warrants.
