They detected the odor of burnt marijuana, spoke with the occupants and took all of them into custody, he said.

Being held on $100,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail were Adonis Shinholster, 21, of Fort Lauderdale; Jerrard Green, 24, of Hollywood; and Jermaine Armstrong, 19, of Coconut Creek.

The boy was sent to the Bergen County Juvenile Detention Center on a juvenile complaint.

All are charged with wrongful impersonation and credit card theft.

Shinholster also was charged with carrying a small amount of marijuana.

Village police contacted law enforcement authorities in Florida to help them determine the source and scope of the thefts.
