Robert Castronovo, 31, was charged with DWI, reckless driving and having an open alcohol container in his vehicle after his blood-alcohol content registered at .27%, the authority’s Joseph Pentangelo said this morning.

The legal limit in both New Jersey and New York is .08.

The PAPD got the call from another motorist of the 2006 Jeep pinballing in the westbound tube of the tunnel before rear-ending another vehicle, Pentangelo said.

No injuries were reported, he said.
