The 50-foot white trailer apparently belonged to Netherlands-based HEGRON, a cosmetics company. But that could not be confirmed.
It was reported hijacked about 6 p.m. in Ridgefield Park, after which, police said, there were various reported sightings in the area. Leonia police said they found it about four and a half hours later, empty.
