Pedestrian, 85, Struck By Sedan In Hasbrouck Heights Dies

HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, N.J. -- An 85-year-old pedestrian died at Hackensack University Medical Center of injuries after she was struck by a car Sunday night in Hasbrouck Heights.

The crash occurred between Boulevard and Burton.

The Chrysler 300 that struck her just before 6:30 p.m. was headed eastbound in the 200 block of Williams Avenue, Detective Lt. Michael Colaneri toold Daily Voice.

She was taken in very serious condition to Hackensack University Medical Center with ALS aboard, he said.

The Lodi driver wasn't charged. An investigation by borough police was continuing.
