None of the five employees at Heights Specialty Pharmacy on Boulevard was injured in Saturday's 2:30 p.m. holdup, Detective Lt. Michael Colaneri told Daily Voice.

One of the robbers held a handgun while one of the employees was ordered to help the other gather prescriptions and cash, he said.

Heights Specialty Pharmacy -- previously known as Bejay Drugs -- has been in business since 1954.

It's considered different from the retail chains and supermarket pharmacies -- with free delivery and personal service. It also provides specialty services for oncology and transplant patients.

"We're working some good leads," said Colaneri, who asked that anyone with information that could help the investigation call Hasbrouck Heights police: (201) 288-1000.
