Police said the case clearly had no connection to the series of stickups that they believe were solved with the arrests of two men last week for more than a dozen robberies, several at Dunkin’ Donuts shops.
In this case, authorities said, someone was making the donuts at 3 a.m. at a Dunkin Donuts on 21st Street and Kennedy Boulevard when the crash of glass breaking startled him.
He spotted told police he spotted a man by the register, who then took off with the dough.
Police ask that anyone with information about the crime call the North Bergen P.D. Detective Bureau at (201) 392-2092.
