New Employee At Hasbrouck Heights Job Stabs Security Guard, Police Charge

HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, N.J. -- A Passaic woman starting a new job pulled a knife and stabbed a security guard who told her she was in a restricted area, said Hasbrouck Heights police who arrested her a short time later.

Police responding to the 3 p.m. at Fashion Logistics on westbound Route 46 found Christina N Gomes, 28, on Route 17 after she ran from the scene, Detective Lt. Michael Colaneri told Daily Voice.

The victim was treated for minor wounds.

Gomes, meanwhile, was being held on $50,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with aggravated assault and illegal weapons possession.

The Bergen County Sheriff's Bureau of Criminal Identification collected evidence.
