Borough police, who have been covering all of Teterboro since the beginning of the year, arrested 61-year-old Margaret Scanniello of Little Ferry, who they said took more than $50 worth of women's clothing.
She was released on a summons.
At this rate, Moonachie police will have 80 arrests out of Teterboro for 2016 -- smashing last year's 45.
Low staffing and the expansion of Teterboro's commercial businesses have combined to put pressure on the department, authorities said.
