Moonachie Police: Teterboro Walmart Shoplifter Took 60-Inch TV, More

TETERBORO, N.J. -- Moonachie police on Wednesday made yet another arrest at the Teterboro Walmart when they took into custody a 49-year-old Little Ferry man who they said swiped a 60-inch flat screen TV, two air fresheners and a can of cat food.

Alex Castillo was released on a summons charging him with shoplifting after he was arrested by Sgt. Jeffery Napolitano and Officer Daniel Leoncini, Detective Sgt. Anthony Fugnitti told Daily Voice.

Castillo put the television in his car without paying, then went back inside the store and swiped the other items, Fugnitti said.Incidents at the Walmart and Costco have significantly boosted the demand on Moonachie police, authorities say.
