Surveillance cameras captured Ronald Mestas as he "used hanging cloths to cover the lower front half of his body as he walked around the store," Sgt. Jeff Napolitano said. "Occasionally he would move the cloths to expose his genitals."
He was also "masturbating while in the aisle next to several shopping customers," the sergeant said.
Napolitano and Officer Vito DeTrizio responded and found Mestas in the store.
As they approached, Napolitano said, Mestas "began to walk away quickly and continued to masturbate."
The officers took him to the floor, at which point he urinated on himself, the sergeant said.
Mestas, who had stopped at the Wal-Mart with his partner, posted $1,000 bail and was released pending a court hearing on lewdness charges. The partner was unaware of the incident, Napolitano said.
