Detective Sgt. Anthony Fugnitti said he and Detective Robert Pezzillo were in the Van Guard Mobile Home Park on Moonachie Avenue yesterday when they spotted Daniel Malia, who took off.
Pezzillo quickly caught up with Malia and took him into custody as Sgts. Jeffery Napolitano and James McNeice arrived.
Malia, who has a mostly drug-related criminal record stretching back decades and a variety of aliases — including Warren Beer and Daniel Presido — was charged with resisting arrest.
He was also wanted on a December warrant out of Ridgfield Park for driving while on the suspended list
Total bail is $3,500.
