Police at first let 21-year-old Frankys Calvo-Boza go after employees at the Boulevard Rite Aid who’d called to report a shoplifting declined to press charges, Detective Lt. Michael Colaneri told CLIFFVIEW PILOT this morning.
“He then walked up to Burton Avenue, where the witness say him trying to break into a vehicle,” Colaneri said. “She yelled at him and he took off.
“She came to headquarters to report it and he came walking in on his way to court.”
The 6-foot, 165-pound Calvo-Boza remained held on $40,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail this morning, charged with attempted burglary and criminal trespassing.
