Raymond P. Morgan III, 29, who’d apparently been using heroin, was released from state prison in October 2013 after spending a little more than seven years of a 10-year term for a pair of 2005 armed robberies in Lodi.

Police charged him with possession of drug paraphernalia and turned him over to state Department of Corrections authorities after the 11:50 a.m. arrest.

Morgan, who’d gone AWOL from the U.S. military in 2004 and recently lived in Bloomingdale, was wanted on a DOC no-bail warrant.
