Indictment: California Man Swapped Sex Images With Ridgefield Park Child

RIDGEFIELD PARK, N.J. -- A California man was indicted on aggravated sexual assault charges, among other counts, for what authorities said was an exchange of sexually explicit chat messages and pornographic images and videos with a 10-year-old Ridgefield Park child.

George Derugin, 29, was extradited to New Jersey after being arrested at a relative's home in late October.

Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said members of his Computer Crimes Unit and Ridgefield Park police handled the investigation, assisted by the Internet Crimes Against Children Unit of the San Jose Police Department.

Charges include two count of child endangerment.
