Hasbrouck Heights police arrest Paterson man in cocaine bust

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: A series of undercover buys led Hasbrouck Heights police to arrest a Paterson man and seize more than an ounce of cocaine.

Luis Fernandez, 24, was being held on $150,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with distributing cocaine in both a school and park zone.

Garfield police assisted in the investigation and arrest of Fernandez on Central Avenue around 6 o’clock last night.

In addition to the cocaine, Hasbrouck Heights detectives seized two bags of marijuana and $1,245 in suspected drug proceeds.
