The borough victim said the muggers approached him in the 200 block of Raymond Street just after 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Detective Lt. Michael Colaneri

He said he was "punched in the face, thrown to the ground, and his Apple I-Phone and $80 in cash were taken," Colaneri said.

The robbers fled in a blue vehicle, he said.

Within an hour, borough police had detained two suspects, Colaneri said.

The next day, they'd seized the two others, as well, he said.

Three are from Hackensack and the fourth from the borough, the lieutenant said.

The victim was treated at Hackensack University Medical Center and released.

The juveniles were served with delinquency complaints charging them with robbery. They remained free pending a hearing in the Family Part of Superior Court in Hackensack.
