Surveillance footage helped lead investigators to 23-year-old Nicholas Stallone of Carlstadt, Detective Lt. Michael Colaneri told Daily Voice.

Detectives stopped his car on Church Street at 9:11 a.m. Tuesday and took Stallone into custody on a single charge of burglary and two of theft.

They brought him to the Bergen County Jail on Thursday night after a judge ordered Stallone held on $25,000 bail.

Records show a previous burglary arrest out of Rutherford two years ago Wednesday.

Three years ago, Wood-Ridge police arrested him and an alleged accomplice in connection with more than 20 car burglaries in Carlstadt, Hasbrouck Heights, Lodi and Wood-Ridge.
