Hasbrouck Heights bank robber wore see-through mask, Yankees zip-up, skull cap

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: A bandit who robbed a TD Bank branch in Hasbrouck Heights earlier tonight was white, a little over 6 feet tall and wearing a see-through mask, a beige New York Yankees zip-up and a skull cap, CLIFFVIEW PILOT has learned..

The robber entered the bank at 109 Boulevard a little after 6:10 p.m., went to a teller and held up a note, then took an undisclosed amount of cash and left through the same door, police told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

“No words were spoken at any time,” Detective Sgt. Michael Colaneri said.

The robber, described as being about 220 to 240 pounds, had light hair with little to no facial hair, the detective said.

The FBI was at the scene, while the Bergen County Sheriff’s Bureau of Criminal Identification collected evidence.
