Responding to a disorderly persons call early yesterday, Sgt. Scott Adamo was sucker-punched by 36-year-old Erik C. Sicard, police said.

Adamo and Officer Daniel Kroncke seized Sicard, who refused to be processed or identify himself, Detective Sgt. Michael Colaneri Jr. told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

Police quickly learned who he is — along with outstanding warrants in his name.

New York authorities said they will extradite him.

First, Sicard faces charges in Hasbrouck Heights of aggravated assault on a police officer, disorderly conduct, obstruction and being a fugitive from justice.

He was being held on $15,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail.
