5-year-old forced into oral sex by married man, cops say

A 45-year-old married man was jailed after a 5-year-old girl told investigators she gave him oral sex after seeing him watch a porn film, Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said today.

Randolph Hoffman of Fair Lawn is charged with aggravated sexual assault and child endangerment.

Molinelli said the girl told police yesterday that the incident happened in May 2008 at a Bogota home. Hoffman was arrested, with bail set at $300,000 cash.

Hoffman is being held in the Bergen County Jail pending a court appearance on Tuesday. He works for Topcon Medical Systems of Paramus, which is a developer and supplier of medical equipment for opthalmologists.

Molinelli credited members of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, Sex Crimes and Child Abuse Squad, under the direction of Chief Joseph Macellaro, the Bogota Police Department, under the direction of Chief Frank Gurnari, and the Little Ferry Police Department, under the direction of Chief Ralph Verdi.
