LITTLE FERRY, N.J. — Former Little Ferry resident Beatrice M. Sellarole McCarthy died Tuesday, May 10. She was 82.
A Hackensack native, McCarthy worked at Scientific Design Co. and the board of education, both in Little Ferry and for James E. Hanson Management Co. in Hackensack through her more than 50 years in the work force.
McCarthy is survived by daughter, Denise McCarthy and Denise McCarthy's lifelong friend, Karen Geary; nieces, Donna and Dorene Sellarole; great-niece, Lisa Castro; and sister, Marie Matchok.
She was predeceased by her parents Roman and Rose (Falato); and brothers Sebastian and Robert.
The family will receive their relatives and friends at the funeral home from noon to 1 p.m. Monday with a prayer service at 1:15 p.m.
Entombment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, in Hackensack.
