GSP Interchange Improvement Project Shuts Ramp, Lanes Overnight In Paramus

PARAMUS, N.J.– Overnight closures of Garden State Parkway exit 163 and parts of Route 17 in Paramus are scheduled to begin Wednesday and last approximately three weeks, authorities said.

The closure– Route 17 at the exit – will last from midnight until 4 a.m. and start with the northbound side for four days, according to the N.J. Department of Transportation.

The closure will then shift to the southbound side for four days. The schedule will repeat in that order, according to the DOT.

Traffic will be detoured to Farview Avenue between Century Road and Midland Avenue, authorities said.

Motorists can also expect nightly lane closures in the area from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m., authorities added.
