Bergen Center Stages 1st Non-Profit Leadership Summit In Hasbrouck Heights

HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, N.J. — A one-day, first-ever opportunity for nonprofit CEO’s, board chairs and trustees to learn how to leverage their positions is being staged by the Volunteer Center of Bergen County in on Jan. 22, 2016.

In partnership with GOAL Consulting Group, "The Secret to Successful Boad/CEO Partnerships" runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Hilton Hasbrouck Heights Meadowlands on Terrace Avenue.

Using case studies, leadership-building activities and learning sessions, the program aims to show how to identify shared goals for your nonprofit and forge positive and effective relationships.

The full retreat includes breakfast, lunch and a signed copy of "The Nonprofit Secret: The Six Principles of Successful Board/CEO Partnerships," the new book by GOAL founder Jonathan D. Schick.

Early bird pricing ends Nov. 30.

Standard pricing for VCBC members is $249 or $299, for nonmembers: $299 and $349.

It's $99 for each additional participant from the same agency.
