Bob Odenkirk is keeping his new poetry book all in the family. The "Better Call Saul" star is the author of "Zilot & And Other Important Rhymes", a book of poems he wrote with his two children when they were younger. His daughter, Erin Odenkirk, a graduate of Pratt Institute, did the illustrations for the book. The Odenkirks will be appearing at Books and Greetings in Northvale on Sunday Dec. 3 at noon. Tense Moment: Pistol-Packing Out-Of-State Probationer Busted By Cliffside Park PD
A potentially tense situation ended with Cliffside Park police arresting an out-of-state driver who was carrying a loaded gun, authorities said. Nicholas Ciardullo, 23, of North Carolina was sentenced to probation in Maine earlier this year after being of participating in a "relative in trouble" scam, records show. Baby Python Removed From Rutgers Dorm Room
A baby python was found in a Rutgers University dormitory room. Rutgers University Police Department was called on Monday, Nov. 27 to Voorhees Residence Hall on the Cook Campus. Officer Rebecca Phillips located and safely removed a baby python from the dorm room, police said. The snake was turned over to New Brunswick Animal Control. "Students must receive approval from from the Office of Disability Services to live in university housing with support animals and unwanted animals should never be released," Rutgers police said on Facebook.

Fearless Bergen Burglars Continue Rash Of Brazen Break-Ins
Local police departments in Bergen County have been comparing notes amid a rising wave of brazen home burglaries. A string of Thanksgiving weekend break-ins included one in which a Glen Rock resident who wasn't home called police after an app showed him two burglars entering his Dunham Place residence shortly after 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 24. Police have identified the gunman accused of killing three people in a New Jersey home Monday, Nov. 27. Om Brahmbhatt, 23, has been charged with three counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of Dilipkumar Brahmbhatt, 72, Yashkumar Brahmbhatt, 38, and Bindu Brahmbhatt, 72, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone said. A 20-year-old New Jersey man was clocked at 120 miles per hour on a Connecticut roadway, police said. Ethan Steier, of Warren (Somerset County), was in a green BMW when police spotted him near Exit 2 on Route 8 south, around 2 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 26 in Bridgeport, CT, state police said. A married construction worker from Cliffside Park who's accused of sexually assaulting a preteen is being held for federal authorities, jail records show. Delfino Simon-Roca, 56, was charged with sexual assault and child endangerment following a month-long investigation that began with a tip from the state Division of Child Protection and Permanency, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said. Honda is recalling hundreds of thousands of vehicles due to faulty seat belts that could put drivers and passengers at risk. The auto giant announced that an estimated 303,770 Honda Accord and HR-V vehicles are subject to the recall for seat belts that could falter when motorists crash or jam on the brakes, increasing the risk of injury. The sunny days have turned dark for former wrestling manager Tammy Lynn Sytch. An 81-year-old driver from Cresskill was pronounced dead at the scene after her car struck a utility pole Monday morning in Tenafly, said police who are seeking witnesses.
