Mom Dies Days After Being Stabbed By Son In New Jersey A 61-year-old woman from Ewing died Thursday, May 23, two days after being stabbed by her son, authorities said. Maggie McNeil was found covered in blood after being stabbed by her son Theodore N. McNeil, 36, of Trenton, on Tuesday, May 21, around 5:10 p.m., at a home on Pennington Road, Ewing police said at the time. According to the Trentonian, Maggie had been trying all day to get help for her son, who is schizophrenic.  Theo had allegedly been hearing voices and had assaulted numerous people at healthcare facilities, before stabbing his mother, the outlet said citing relatives. …

Elderly Man Struck Dead Near Ewing Intersection An elderly man died after being struck by a vehicle near an intersection in Ewing Wednesday evening, authorities confirmed. The man was struck near the intersection of Pennington Road and Somerset Street shortly before 5:50 p.m., Ewing Police said in a press release. He was rushed to Capital Health Regional Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries. His identity was not released. Triple-Shooting Injures Teen, 2 Adults In South Jersey: Police A teen and two adults were shot in South Jersey Sunday night, authorities said. Officers responding to gunshots on Parkway Avenue near Pennington Road in Ewing did not initially locate a scene but were then approached by a vehicle containing one of the shooting victims around 10:15 p.m., Ewing Police said in a Monday afternoon release. Police assisted the victim and learned that two other gunshot victims had been taken to Capital Health Hospital in Hopewell with a private vehicle.
